Page 1 of Chris Ryan`s Strikeback...

Anyone else suitably impressed by this short series on Sky?  Not sure if it was a collaboration with any other TV companies but think Sky have outdone themselves with this one.  It had it`s flaws, sure, but as a brief six hour piece of escapism I thought it was great and the production values were excellent as well.

Plus it was nice to see Alexander Siddig from DS9 again after so long.  Thought Richard Armitage and Andrew Marshall were superb...

I`ve got it recorded on my V+ Box but wasn`t 100% sure about watching it. I really only recorded it because Andrew Lincoln was in it and I wanted to check out his acting chops as he`s been cast as the lead in The Walking Dead series pilot. That said your `suitably impressed` moves it closer to getting a viewing. Ta.

I sometimes feel that I am entitled to convey my opinion to the fullest and recommend a series based on it`s own merits................ ................ This miniseries is outstanding! 8)

Thought I would resurrect as last year the Richard Armitage character was killed off so the series could be handed over to Cinemax with its own stars.  I really enjoyed the second series as well, so been looking forward to what for us is the third series, although they are calling it season2.  Starts tonight with a double episode.

Can`t be to far away, still has the Sky credit after the end titles.  Just watched the firstep, action filled and sets up a couple of story arcs for the rest of the series.

Who are the main characters, anyone carried over from the last series.  That randy Yank who was always doing someone, for instance?
