Stephen King's It. Never read, not had the compunction to until my car died and I'm currently sharing a bus journey with school-age annoying types so needed the distraction.

My god it's a rambling mess with tiny elements of plot splashed here and there to give the illusion of some kind of narrative. That's not to say it isn't enjoyable in places. It's oft said that Mr King was enjoying the Colombian marching powder in vast quantities while writing the book, which may go to some length towards explaining the chapter structure, as if halfway through writing a passage he was distracted by another random thought and started getting that down before going back and finishing the one he abandoned. I can kinda relate, apart from the marching powder.

I'm 30% in, according to my phone (no, I'm not lugging something twice as thick as the bible onto the bus. It gets cramped in there), so I should be finished, hopefully, before I get another car.;

Haven't read it for years but I remember enjoying it immensely.

Have you tried The Dark Tower series?

I'm still working my way through The Gulag Archipelago, but have slowed down as distracted by watching the whole of The World At War again.  Still, it's amazing to me just how petty and cruel the Soviets were against their own people even in the first couple of chapter where Solzhenitsyn is just describing the various purges that took place and how automatic 10 year sentences were just handed out for the most trivial of reasons, including just knowing someone who knew someone else...

I did indeed finish IT before I got a new car (This thursday past, as it happens), and have swiftly moved onto the Reacher series after several recommendations. One shot was a breeze, but it might have been the wrong way round as I finished that and went straight to Killing Floor, and the difference in his unevolved writing style is obvious

"Alone in the world" by Hector Malot just made me cry. It is so emotional that the book became my favorite story. It is the most dramatic subject I have ever read. I also prefer "Whale Talk". In a free book summary, I wrote about it that if you have perseverance, you will keep on going no matter what situation you are in. On https://freebooksummary.com/category/the-importance-of-being-earnest you can find my other impressions, but in a nutshell, I want to urge you to read "Alone in the world". It is a masterpiece, I guarantee.

I also really like reading fiction and drama, I'm a romantic, so I'm attracted to such genres. But I will probably never be able to write my book, I can't even do school paperwork myself and I always ask for help at SPAM URL REMOVED, this service is a great option for students who like I can't write works. These professionals do their work inexpensively and in good quality, so I recommend using it!

That takes patience.

I start reading Ulysses by Irish writer James Joyce. I tried to read this modernist novel several times already, but the maximum reached the third chapter. This time I want to read to the end, no matter how long it takes me.
