Page 1 of The Survivors
General Forum
Well I don`t know how I missed it, but I was searching to find when series 3 of The Survivors was coming on, only to find it was cancelled months ago. After all the trash that BBC inflicted on us over Christmas, not to mention the crap on BBC in general, I am seriously thinking of refusing to pay for my licence. The BBC is not reflecting my viewing at all. Top Gear is about all I watch & that is (I believe) made by a different company. There may be the odd thing I watch but at the moment I am struggling to think of it, whatever, there is not enough content on BBC for me to warrent the licence fee.

yeah i thought it was a well made first two series... as was the remake of Day Of The Triffids, but alas no further series of that either!
The BBC killed the series by making us wait almost 2 years between series as they didnt wanna show it while we were all worried about bird flu or some other crap, they didnt think we were able to seperate fact from fiction, by the time they decided to air the second series they had lost most of the audience as the ones who has seen and enjoyed the first series either couldnt remember what was going on or had forgotten all about it

I remember enjoying the first series, but the missus and I gave up after a couple of episodes of series 2 as we thought it turned rubbish.
It`s ok though Paull as the beeb recieves around 3 billion a year from the TV tax, ergo the money they wasted on this show (not the production itself but because of the way it was eventually outputted to the paying viewer) is a drop in the ocean to them.

<html xmlns="">I liked the first series but grew increasingly tired of the unlikely situations and the characters during the second season. It wasn`t so bad when it was just a rehash of the original series but I just got sick of the episodes involving someone in the gang being captured, the rest of them debating whether to go after them or whether to just take flight and then ending up in even more trouble which they eventually escape from. It was this formulaic approach that annoyed me and I can`t say I would have tuned in to the third season if they had made one.
