Quite funny listening to government officials berating the proposed public sector strikes and how they will cause problems for parents who will need to take time off to look after their kids. HHHMMM it was OK when they decided to give the country a bank holiday when one of the inbreds got married last month

I`d like to say a big thankyou to anyone who isn`t striking, especially if their union or everyone else at their place of work is.
I understand that people feel they`er being treated unfairly, but I feel like we should all stick together rather than causing chaos and child care problems and so on for everyone. I work long hours, at naff pay, in naff conditions without the option of company pension, and I guarantee you there`s a lot of us in the private sector in the same boat, yet we`re not all striking, we`re just glad to still have jobs.
If people feel they have been treated unfairly, how does it help to cause chaos to thousands of others?Wouldn`t it be better to stage mass protests at the weekends when kids aren`t at school and a large proportion of businesses etc are not open? I would sympathise a lot more with weekend protests, even if it caused travel chaos and so on when it doesn`t affect so many people who have nothing to do with it, especially when a lot of us have to put up with far worse working conditions.

Somewhere along the line all these overpaid pension schemes have to end & people take a loss. This includes those living like kings now & for some while on our taxpayers money. I heard recently that something like Two Thirds of our council tax goes on pensions. Well they can all go **** themselves, I pay my `overcharged` council tax for facilities & that does not include paying for tossers in Barbados etc on overpaid pensions.
RE: Civil service/ Public sector strikes
I wouldn`t have put it as forcefully. But yeah, **** em.

I find myself agreeing with Paull.
It is time the inflated public sector pensions were stopped.
