I PRESUME YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT DATELS DVD REGION X FOR PS2?

there was an older version where you got an x-key memory card but the new version is just the disc and uses your existing memory card
And NO it does not take up your whole card it makes a small game save file for the Region X disc.

I have one and have had no problems with it but the only thing is that if you want to watch Region 1 dvd`s on your PS2 make sure you have an NTSC compatible TV. If you dont they will play back in black and white or all fuzzy!

I don`t mean to sound stupid, but how does the DVD Region X actualy work.
i`ve been told multiple storys of how to use it but they always finish with "but i don`t have one, somone told me" so i want just the facts (mam).

You put the Region X disk in your PS2 and turn it on.

It gives you a screen where you use your controller to select the appropraite region. Once you press X to select the region - the information is written to the memory card and the disk automatically ejected.

You then put your DVD in, restart the PS2, select the DVD playback icon and off you go!

Easy peasey.

Worth every penny mate!

I`ve not come across anything it won`t play - Region2, Region1 and Region1 RCE disks all seem to work fine.

If you`ve already got a PS2, this is the cheapest way to watch DVDs from different regions without having to buy an actual DVD player :)
