Newbie needs some help on building Website!
Hello, i posted a message previously asking for help for a beginner trying to build a web site and have found the links very helpful but i can t see anything to help with the problem i am having now.
I have the heading and images loaded and have topics and stuff down the left hand side of my page and it is loking quite good.
The Problem is....i am trying to paste in a paragraph in the center of the page and when i do this all my text on the left hand side of the page moves down, level with the bottom of the paragraph.
I bet its something really simple but my head is nipping trying to figure it out.
Can somone give me some help...Cheers!

Send me the link too and i`ll have a look at it/do it for you. I`ve finished uni now and have NOTHING to do with my time. It`ll be nice to get the brain cells working again! :-)

Skirpydoink,
Are you using frames? Why don't you put all your links in a frame down the left hand side and leave the frame on the right for your contents? If you don't want to use frames the best way to position things on your page is by using tables.
[EDIT]: You have mail also.

No r8sso , i am not using frames, i had started following the beginners guide from www.pagetutors.com and jumped the gun a bit as i thought it was a bit too basic and started messing about myself as i thought i had a grasp of it.
It still looks very basic but i am getting there.
Have you an e-mail address i could post the page i am going to be working on and my notebook where i have done the work.
Maybe you could give me some tips as it looks an untidy mess.
Cheers!
