Whenever it is it won`t be soon enough.

At present my Grems will only be challenging those below them in the table as challenging upwards simply means the majority of fights end in single digit points for me & 18+ for the higher Grem. I refuse to throw my challenges away like that.

I`ve been getting more refusals than usual but I don`t care, the way the scoring is at present it`s worth a refusal or two.

I`m also sticking to high STRENGTH & DEX & low STAMINA Grems.

That way I can get more XP for %age of damage done, when challenged by a grem above me, in the few fights where the lower Grem actually manages to land a punch or two

I`ve found that there`s a bit of "what goes around comes around" - I accept challeges from higer grems, because they do the same to me when the positions are reversed - so we end up helping each other up the ladder. It`s hard at the bottom end, and a slow climb, but I`m getting there now.

Maybe even a single point per round won would help shift the balance a bit though.

However I`m glad of the rule change - the high dex/low strength mantra was getting boring.

But now it`s simply turning into a site full of high str/dex, low stamina, gremlins.

Unfortunatly most people are now using high strength/dexterity gremlins and pressing hit harder more often than not, fights rarely last longer than 6 rounds now which I find is just as boring and frustrating. I do realise the object is to win the fight but surely a better objective would be to win and get as many points as possible.

Unfortunately, knowing your opponent is almost certainly using hit harder, you have no choice other than to do the same.

It`s all because of the stupidity of using the difference in strength between the grems as part of the damage calculation.

I agree and yes I do, however if you want to try different tactics and will agree not to hit harder tomorrow I don`t mind playing :)
