hi i got a proline dvd1000 and i use this hack so i could play rce disc`s

To convert this player to Multi-Region with R.C.E. playback

1.Open the disc tray.

2.Place a region one disc (Non R.C.E.) in the tray, But don`t close it.

3.Press the buttons 0,1,2 and then 3 on the remote control in this sequence, one at at time.

4.Press the "Play" button on the remote control, Let the disc play for a short while.

5.Eject the disc and load your R1-R.C.E. disc ( something like Hollow Man). The disc should then load and play perfectly.

The machine is now set to Multi-Region Auto-Select.


i recently bought black hawk down it loads up with this hack but it is jerky and very poor picture for the first 17 mins of the film i was wondering if it was because it was a rce disc or if its a manufactureing fault because its fine after the first 17 mins

iwant to know weather to bother returning to shop cos if it not faulty they carge me:P

Try it in a differant player if you know someone with a multiregion player. It does sound like a faulty disk, but I have 2 samsung 709`s and some disks will play in one then jump and freeze in the other both players were purchased only a few months apart and this quirk has always happened. The best test for you is to see if someone near you has black hawk down to try in your player. I have black hawk down and there is no problem with mine.
