Cant say I`ve ever tried that but I would be VERY surprised if it works ... I have never heard of any remote hacks for tosh dvd players ... we can offer you a diy chip or a Magic upgrade for this player

I have an iMac, can it be connected to the DVD player to produce an eeprom dump? How are they connected?
