Page 1 of region hack for new samsung dvd 3e

does anyone know a way to get my brothers dvd to play multiregion,its a new samsung dvd 3e it has replaced the old 1e and this hack does not work....any suggestions

try this, it works!!
no disc displayed
press mode/repeat
press subtitle
press 3 8 7 6 7
02 is displayed top left
press 9 for 3 seconds
press open tray
press power

btw anyone know of a macrovision hack?

I have this machine also and have been in touch with a reliable chipping company and I have been told there is no macrovision hack or a chip as yet as it is such a new machine.

thanks, I wanted to use it to tape dvds to take to my mates to watch (as he has no dvd player). A few don`t appear to have any copy protection (Resident Evil, Rockstar) so I`ll make do with those.

There is anoter way around the macrovision.It`s called a Macro Buster and it`s a scart lead I bought from Playstationmods.com which cost me arouind £24 with postage.
You plug the scart end with the mains adapter into the machine you are copying from and the other end into the machine you are copying to.
I`ve had mine around 2 months now and it works fine.
