Page 1 of rce dvd`s can be played

Im asking all the dvd experts out there if this is true. My mate said that my hacking your player to region 1, rce disks can be played. Then when you want to watch a region 2 you re-hack it to multi region. Is this true as I have a goodmans 3500pk want to know if i can do this to play the spider man disk????

Im not too sure but heres the code so you can watch DVDs from any region in the world!!!!!!!!

Goodmans DVD-3500PK

Multi-Region Code:

1. Open drawer.
2. Press 9, 8, 1, 7 on the remote control.
3. Press ENTER till region 9 is displayed.
4. Press RETURN.
