Page 1 of Hack needed for a Goodmans Gdvd134 please.

If anyone has got a hack to enable region free or vcd playback on the goodmans 134 i would be most grateful,it`s driving me mad!thanks to anyone who can help.

open tray, 2812 enter, set to No.9. Its now region free but will not play VCDs it works. Let others Know, Good luck

has anybody got any more info on how to play vcd`s on this model

I have the GOODMANS 135, this hack should play on all goodmans dvd players.First of all load the vcd into the machine, as you do this, hold down the "GOTO" button on your remote control, (takes a bit of timing).You will get a menu bar at the top of the tv screen, which should automatically load the disc. If the disc does`nt load from the menu bar, just press 0001 on the remote, and hey presto the svcd/vcd will play.
This also works on Alba dvd players.

Try pressing the 1 button repeatedly during the period when the disc is loading . Should work though the timing is a bit iffy. Please give feedback on this.

I have a hack that worked brilliantly on my Goodmans GDVD 134 model. This is what you do: Turn your machine on, open the tray and press 2812, then ENTER. A programming page should appear, scroll down to the "Region" or "Country" code and enter "0". This gives you a Region Free setting and will allow you to play all sorts of DVD`s. This one is great because you don`t have to keep re-entering the code everytime you turn your machine back on... at least I don`t have to. :)
