Page 1 of Problem Playing The Others R3 On Samsung 709 After Remote Hack?

Hello everyone,

Last week i posted bout ordering Region 3 discs and will they play on my Samsung 709 after i remote hacked it. So i ordered the Region 3 disc of The Others and it arrived this morning and it started playing fine but it skips every so often. I`ve only watched the first two minutes and it`s already had 2 jumps. So does anyone else have this same problem / or can recommend a solution / or does the jumping stop as it progresses into the movie.

Might just be a scratch on the disc, I borrowed a region 1 version of From Hell from a friend and it jumped about all the way through the film, yet onhis player which is not a 709 like mine it worked fine, 709`s have a history of doing this to some discs, try the rest of it ti see if it`s the same.

Yeah thanks, Elgin McQueen. It`s skips from about 1.5mins to about 7mins but after that, it`s fine. Don`t see how it could have been scratched though as it was still in plastic wrapping when i bought it. But it could just be one of the 709 bugged discs - such as There`s Something About Mary and The Matrix (which i both own!)..... :)
