Page 1 of Schneider 857 Region Free Hack That Works

Actually I`m having you on, you don`t need a hack for this player as it is already region free.

I kid you not, the £99 player from Asda is region free. I just tried a region 1 disc I borrowed from a friend and it worked without any mods!!!

I wish this was the case, unfortunately it would appear that my 857 is not multi regional, probably depends on what mood the technician is in back at the factory. My back up disks constantly jam. Although they work fine on my other machine and PS2!

Try this One It Does Work!!
1.Ensure a region 2 disk is in the player.
2.Press "setup"
3.Press "7" for bypass region code.
4.Press "Pause/Step.
5.Press previous (This is the ¦>¦ button)
7.Press "setup"
8.Try a region 1 dvd.

Although you will not see any change or menus when going through this procedure it does work.

ure friends disc isnt region 1 then coz i brought 1 from america when i visited my brother last year and it does not work on the machein keeps saying wron region
