Page 1 of Dansai Hacks

I notice that the advice on dansai hacks (for the 852 and 1010) is still setup,stop,previous, next and then change things in the hidden menu. This won`t work with new 1010s or modified 852s.

Here`s a new hack:

Setup
then press in order the last two rows of buttons on the remote starting with the penultimate row.

This should bring up the hidden menu and you can do your stuff.

Jusy bought the 1010 wont play cd/r for me do i need to upgrade as i`ve tried the hack mentioned but nothin happens,is it the last two rows from left to right or vice versa.please help.

You will need the upgrade disc to fix the cdr problem. As for the hack its left to right with the buttons. Alternatively try the original hack - setup, stop,forward, previous, next. There may be more than one firmware version with this player.
