Page 1 of Mustek V560 Macrovision and Region Code off!

Hi,

does anyone know how I can set off the macrovision protection and the region code ?

I`m trying to find you macro disable but To change region on this player:

Ensure the players tray is empty and closed
On the Remote control Press Setup
Then On the Players Front Panel
Press Next
Press Stop
Press Pause/Step
Press Prev
Press Next
You should now see a new men
Go to Select Region and make your choice:
If this hack fails try this:

Press Setup
Press the volume + and - keys alternating until you see "VER #" (# is your current Region code)
Use the Cursor keys to choose VER 255 (Region free)
Press Setup
Another possibility is this:

Press Setup
Press Next, Prev, Next, Prev
Then you will find the menu. It says `ver x`. x is you Region code. Press PREV until x=255 for Region free mode
