Page 1 of No macrovision option on factory control page crown 540

I used the region remote hack to access the factory control page and was able to may the player region free. however there was no macrovision menu option to turn off.
Apparently the crown DVD is made by the same people as minoka and probably finlux, and a heap more. so is there any way of turning off macrovision? do I need a firmware upgrade to do this - if so where could I find the firmware,

if your player is not capable of removing macrovision try the MAC MASTER available from www.zoodirect.com/ i got mine from a computer fair it works fine recording from region 2

Can you possible tell me what the region hack is for this player. got a pile of R1s that are currently lying redundant. lol

SORRY NO HELP WITH THE MACROVISION PROBLEM BUT MAYBE YOU COULD HELP ME! I AM TRYING TO FIND THE REMOTE HACK FOR THE CROWN 540 FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS BUT JUST END UP GOING ROUND IN CIRCLES.IF YOU COULD POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

Try the Finlux 510 hack.this worked for me on a crown 540 dvd player.Good luck.
