Page 1 of problem with dvdr880 help please!

ive managed to hack the dvdr880 using the 121212005001 hack to play region 1 discs but the picture is black and white please can someone tell me where ive gone wrong thanx.

How have you got your DVD player plugged in is it throught Scart or through the phone plugs.

is your tv able to play back NTSC

ive connected it via the scart i dont know about the ntsc compatability of my tv its a philips 32"widescreen only about 2 years old.ive also got a wharfdale 750s which i usually use to play my region 1 discs this has an option on the menu to use pal60 for region 1 i thought maybe the philips would be the same.

You may need to set your tv to NTSC play back And check to see if your dvd player needs to be set to ntsc. I have recently hacked my Philips Dvd player to play region 1 and i have a sony 25" screen and i have my dvd player is connected through phone jacks as my scart plugs are all being used up by my games consoles and videos but i have no problem.

S ocheck the play back capabilitiesof the dvd player to see if it needs to be changed.
