Help needed for Phillips 890 DVDR

Need to know if i can override copyright protection for backing up video tapes????????????????.
Ok at backing up DVDs as master dvd player is already macro vision disabled but cannot get it to record from VCR any surggestions

ive got a phillips 890 dvdr all you have to do is take the output from the back of your video player phono sockets to the input on the front of the 890 dvdr phono inputs select cam 1 and that will do the trick remember the better the phono leads the better the piture and if you want to copy any dvds even disney films switch off the macrovision on the dvd player which you will be using to play the dvd film . i have over 300 films on dvd which are up todate and as good a copy as the origonal

What if your video doesn`t have a video phono out. My video only has audio out L & R. If you use the scart to phono you still get the copyright protection.
