Sony DAV - S300 region conversion needed

I have a sony DAV - S300 purchased in the USA in 2001 and I now want to convert it to multi region for use in europe. can anyone help.

Techtronics say they cannot convert the latest line of sony DVD`s from x00 on so I need another alternative
