i`ve tried with the normal remote but it doesn`t go back to NO DISC when code has been entered so is there anything i have missed or do i have to go and get the one for all pad

I think you have to use the One for All Remote.
The 222... code seems to work with the normal remote only in a few players.
The best way to apply the hack correctly is with the One for All or with a Palm Pilot and Omniremote program.
