Page 1 of Hitachi 505 loophole nightmare

Help, please.....

I have entered the necessary code to unlock the loophole but can i change my player to region 1, can i buggery. How the hell do you do this. Please please can some one advise me - have just bought a region 1 dvd and i cant play the bloody thing.

To convert your Hitachi DV-P505 player into a multiregion player simply follow these instructions:

1. Download and upgrade your unit using the 0123 firmware and instructions from Ironduke`s website.(www.theironduke.plus.com) This will make your player multi-region, however you can also set it to a specific region by carrying on with the remaining steps

2. Press the Setup button on the Remote

3. Press the Last button

4. Press the Skip Previous button

5. Press the Skip Next button

6. You will now enter the `Loop Holes` menu where you can alter the player region
