does anyone have a multi region hack for the sanyo sl20?

Just purchased this DVD. Do we have a hack for it as yet? If so, can you let me know.

has anyone tried the file dvdsl20.zip on their sanyo sl20 and got it to work? i was just wondering what im doing wrong. does it play all multi region dvds?

also has anyone found a way to play vcds?

I am new top all this I have downloaded the firmware now what do I do?

switch dvd player on so the welcome screen can be seen
place disk in the try and close it
the player will automatically play the disc, during this time the player will display a speckled picture don`t worry this is normal, DO NOT TOUCH ANY BUTTONS ON THE REMOTE OR KEYS
after around 30 secs the tray will open but do not touch anything until the unit goes into standby.

just to say thanks this fix works tried it last night after following instructions and update worked fine i can now play multi region films. I do have one question though does this player support RCE (region coded enhanced) region 1 dvds??? thanks again for your help.

Yes it must be unzipped.

Please help this thicko.I unzipped the file put it on a cd and put it in the dvd player but all I got was "Reading" for a few seconds then "No Play".What am I doing wrong?
