Wharfedale copyright crack

Paulie (Harmless) posted this on Friday, 22nd December 2000, 01:23

Is there anyway possible to modify the Wharfedale DVD player so that I can record certain scenes to VHS without the copyright interfering by warping the image and sound?

Macrovision cannot be disabled on the box itself, but external macrovision removes can be bought from your local Maplin for example. These cost round about £40 and also let you tape Sky Box Office movies if you have it.

Search these forums, there`s a website (I forget the URL) that will fit a no-macro mod to the 750S for £50

or you can DIY it for £30.

Happy times are just around the corner...

Sorry but we do not sell our Wharfedale Macro disable chips to enable you to record to VHS this would be a breach of copyright .....

we sell them so that you can connect your DVD player to a TV with no scart socket by linking via your video

or

so that you can connect your player to one of the projector TV`s that have problems with macro..
