My Bush DVD142RC plays VCDs OK but SVCDs play with no sound (great picture)

hi richard.i have the same problem with bush 142dvdtv,have posted questions on all sections here with no remedy to this problem,if you hear
a cure first,let me know,i will do likewise..happy new year..
