Page 1 of PHILIPS DVDR880 region hack (again - sorry!)

I`ve done the region hack with the All for One 6 remote, but that only succeeds in making the machine Region 1 compatible, and won`t play region 2 discs. If I change the last few digits of the code to include a 2 then it reverts back to Region 2, and no Region 1 compatibility!
Any way of making the hack permanent to play both Regions 1 and 2?

I had the same problem, but after reading some older forum`s i found the answer change the last 3 digits to 255. Hope this helps!!!

i also used code 121212005255 with one for all remote and can get reg 1,2,and 3 have not tried anything else
