Hi kevin, I have a philips 762 dvd and also a oneforall remote and the code works for mine:
set the oneforall remote up so it will operate ur dvd and then press the magis button then 085
there will be 11 spaces on ur dvd screen
type the following with ur dvd`s remote
222 222 005 255 (the last digit will nor show up(
then press the play button on dvd remote
should say `no disc`
turn power off for 10 seconds and then back on...........sorted!
cheers

John

Hello Kevin

You are absolutely correct. My 880 also displays only NINE dots when prompting for the code.

If you press on regardless and keep entering the numbers blindly but carefully, the code WILL work (after powering down) but BEWARE... my 880 is now misbehaving & often doesn`t recognise disks, requires disk-swapping etc. Far from ideal, v messy.

I suspect there is more than one model involved here, perhaps different software versions. Can anyone cast any light on this?

kevin, i only get 9 dots. i used a all for one urc-7562. had a few problems and rang one for all and they upgraded it over the phone to operate it.then tried, switch dvd on with no disc, pressed magic 085 got 9 dots, entered 121 212 005 002 play leav on and put in region 2 disc played disc for 30 secs ejected and closed tray wait till no disc shows. press magic 085 9 dots on screen entered 121 212 005 255 play, open tray and i put in a region 3 (but you could use a region 1 ) it played straight away and i am now multi region with no side affectc. ian.
