phillips dvd 623 hack problem

can anyone help. when I input the first codes so that i can input the 12 digit code. The display only shows 7 spaces instead of the 12 needed to put the coe in. Please help

just put the code in anyway it should register it, but not show the last numbers on the display..... as per instructions
