Apex AD660 Region Hack Help

Hi I just purchased a Apex AD660 DVD player at Circuit City. Now I have been reading that the AD600A had a remote hack were you could change the region and other options. I was wondering if there is a hack for the 660 or if there is a way that I can modify it to pick up region 2 DVD`s because the only movies I am going to watch are going to be from the USA (Region 1) and Japan (Region 2) so is there any way to modify it to do this?
