Can anyone help?

I managed to change on my screen the region to 0 on my dvd but it still plays black and white on my multi region disks does this mean i have to chip it or is there a solution

Could this be the problem:
You need to change the setup on your player. Press Setup then go to the picture column and change it from PAL to Auto. If it still comes out black and white it is because your TV is too old and is not NTSC compatible - you`ll have to invest in a new TV. If you look on the back of the DVD it will have the NTSC symbol your region 2 disks will have the PAL symbol.

I have tried this but when I press setup (0n remote control) it does not give me a picture column, so I can not change it from PAL to Auto. I have tried changing the switch on the back of the player to no avail. I can set myTV to Pal 60 enabling me to play NTSC videos so I don`t think it is my TV. :/
