I have just won this DVD player and want to know if there are any hacks for this machine tried some that where posted for other LGs but kept saying NO DISC when trying to pause.Anyone that can help. THANKYOU. Mic.

I`m also looking for a remote hack for the LG 2280P, I`ve tried the pause and a bunch of numbers hack but don`t even get the word `code` to show up on screen or on front of dvd player. Help!

Sorry guys, if the player doesn`t show the display "COdE - -" at the appropriate time, you have non hackable firmware.
If you wanna make sure you`re doing the hack correctly, wait for the "No Disc" message on screen, then try the hack on my site:
