Page 1 of Aiwa 370 playing R1 black&white

I tried the multi region hack and inserted a R1 disc, "Family Values 98". Although it played the disc, it was in black & white only. I tried changing the NTSC/PAL/AUTO switch at the back and this did not work. I do have a NTSC/PAL VCR that plays NTSC videos in colour. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Dont know what problem is but its happening to mine I have a grundig210 its plays but in black and white.

try connecting your 370 straight to the Tv with the switch set to PAL - works on mine ok

Remember to power off the player after selecting "PAL", then power back on to reset it.

It should play in colour then!

AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!!

Use a fully wired SCART lead and make sure the TV/Awia is setup to output/recieve RGB then your laughing..

PS: Leave the switch on the back to Auto, Make sure thet QuasiPAL is `on` in the menu.
