Page 1 of Aiwa 370 Region Hack

HELP!!!!!

I have just bought the Aiwa XD-DV370 from Comet. I have tried the region hack but nothing happens.

With no DVD loaded and the tray open I press pause on the remote then enter 314159. At this point when COde should appear nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong!!

Who told you to have the tray open??

Easiest way to start is power on the player with no disc, and wait for the "No Disc" message on screen.

I had the same probs, But the answer was simple. It was th speed that i was typing in the codes.
In short the faster the better i found.and the tray can be in or out it dont matter. My 370 was from Comet too,6 days ago and it works on mine, You may find that the code is for a XR and not a XD but that dont matter either
