Confused....Which is best

I have recently been brought a wharfdale 750 from `Tesco`s` , it works great , the drive is not noisy , it hacked OK and plays the sound track thru my Pro logic equipment Fine . Odd disks wont play , Wallace and Gromit , X-men etc dont play , but i`ve read all about them......
But i`ve now seen loads of comments saying the 750 is crap , change it for a 750S , and others saying the 750S is crap . ??????
Can anyone tell me the advantages of the 750S over the 750 ( if any )
