I am in the same boat. Have you managed to find a hack. My plea appears to have fallen on stoney ground.

Hi, Load the DVD into the player and press the 0 or 1 button with the skip forward button either together or on at a time it`s not permanent but it does work. Regards..

Hi, are you sure that this works for the goodmans gce5000 portable dvd player. I have been looking for ages and wanted to make sure. What do you mean when you say it isn`t permanent. Could you e-mail me with a full list of what to do.

Hi, In reply put the DVD in to the player and either press the 0, or 1 butten and the the fast forward button try together or one at a time, you have to do this every time you play a multiregion DVD.
