Page 1 of Playing American DVD`s on LG 3200E

I was looking for any help regarding playing American DVD`s on my new LG 3200E Player. In the manual it says that it is possible for me to play NTSC discs by switching a switch at the back of the player. There is also someting called pseudo Pal that allows me to play back NTSC disc, i have also heard of a "hack" that can be done useing the remote. I was just wondering if anyone could help by if any of these thing will work and let me play American region 1 discs.

Are you talking about NTSC or region 1 DVD`s
If it is NTSC either leave switch at back of player to auto, or swithch to NTSC, then go into setup
menu and turn on Psuedo Pal
If it is region 1 DVD`s follow these.
1. power on dvd
2. press pause
3. enter 314159 ( you can now enter region code. 0 for multi region)
4. press pause
5. power off dvd
6. now wait

When entering code you have to be quick, and for some reason you`ll have to wait
for it to kick in. Hope this helps. Any info on playing CD-R CD-RW would be helpfull.

Are you trying to play region 1 disc`s, or are you tring NTSC region 2 disc`s?

I`ve tried the "hack" on my LG 3200E and it didn`t work either. Have you managed to find a hack enabling you to play multi-region DVDs? If so please HELP me sort my DVD player out.
