Page 1 of Grundig GDV110 (Philips 710 clone) It wont go multi-region

My mate next door has been very silly and bought himself a Grundig 110, and I have been trying without sucess to get the multi hack to stick.
It will play R1`s or R2`s using the old 25 go`s and youve had it hack, but the 222... hack dont wanna know -the screen turns red and everything locks up. Normal service is resumed only after pulling the mains!
Do I need to apply the RC6 hack to get the dashes up, or should I tell him to get it chipped! Speaking of chips it has got the C.98-99 9.25 000 310 P2 chipset.
Help me please!!!!!!!!

I think you should use the univesal hack with the special RC6 command...
