Does anyone know off a region hack for this model, To allow it to play Region 1 discs.

Hi Norms I`ve just bought the same DVD (JVC XV-N33) and was going to ask the same question as you. Did you find a way?. Or does anyone else know?.

I think the only way is to rent an upgrade tool from dvd chips but it will cost you almost as much as the player !!
