Please Please Please I have been searching since Christmas for a hack and to be honest I`m giving up hope of ever finding one.

Agee. Some jokers are spreading a "put region 1 disc in the tray, press play very rapidly ( no indication of how rapidly or for how long) movie starts hack" Dream on. Sony have buried the multi-region mod very deep especially in the x36 series so expect to pay serious money for a mod chip.
