Page 1 of How do Imake a Time Laptop multiregion?

Title says it all really. My dad bought a Time laptop and I know you have to flash the firmware, but he doesnt have a floppy drive and I think you need one to boot from.

there is a program called dvd region killer, have you tried that?

That only works in the drive itslef is region free (rpc2). At the moment the drive is in Region 1 mode and has four changes remaining until the player locks (rpc1)
