I`m about to buy the Philips DVD728 Player. Does anyone have experience with this player and inform me if he/she`s satisfied with it.
Can you advise me to buy it?

Is it possible/easy to make it Region Free?

hi there
i bought this dvd player today, it seems ok so far
the hack for it is:
open disc tray
type 9,9,9,0
then it is multi region

used to have the philips dvd 634 player but it stoped working after only a month..

I`ve just brought the Philips DVD728 and it`s a good buy

Region hack is the same as the DVD625

1. Open Tray
2. Enter 9-9-9-9-0
3. Region 0 appears on the screen and it is now Multi Region

As I can see, you have Philips dvd728. Does it accept RCE-discs when set to multi-region? Also: Is it correct that you can only switch regions 25 times. It says so at amazon.com: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/tg/feature/-/486191/ref=ed_qpe_dp_1_1/026-4205681-2007626?tag=myrev09-21
