Can anybody please help with a hack for this player, have searched everywhere and can`t find anything

Did you manage to get a hack for the GDVD 147? I have one too and desperately need a hack!

No news yet as the guy who asked for the hack, has not received his DVD player in the post yet. What I can suggest, is that you use existing Roadstar hacks which are available on the net and try them. Goodmans are using the same chip set as Roadstar. Any other questions, drop me an email.

I still haven`t had any luck with hacking my GDVD 147

I have tried all the Goodmans hacks available, have also tried all the roadstar one`s available with no luck.

If anybody can come up with any other ideas it would be most apreciated

You might want to try this:

* Switch on the DVD player - you don`t need to open the drawer.
* Press 1, 6, 7, 1 and 9 one by one on the remote.
* A hidden configuration menu comes up. Press OK on the remote, then 0 to change the configuration number to 0.
* You should now see that the region is set to ALL.
* Press EXIT on the remote.

Badabing! Multiregion is yours.
