Sanyo SL25 DVD Player Multiregion

Hi

Does anyone know how to make the Sanyo SL25 multi region?
It was given to me as a present and the purchaser did not
realise it would only play region 2.
I posted a query to ofni[at]ku.oc.sedocdvd in the hope they
might sell a hardware fix- If I get a reply, I will share it.
