Page 1 of Ferguson dvd 400CF hacks?????

Hello does anyone have hacks for this dvd it`s a friend of mines and they could do with it unlocking I have done the region hack from the CE on this site and that seems to have cured the region thing but now I need the hack for svcd and vcd can anyone help?

My neighbour has this, and it has the same internal circuit as my previous deck, the Matsui DVD 122:

To convert this player to Multi-Region
1. Press the Menu button on your remote control
2. Enter 1, 6, 7 using your remote control
3. Press 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on, or alternatively hit the Mute button on your remote control for all regions.

To convert this player for VCD playback
1. Press the Open button on your remote control to open the drive tray
2. Place an audio CD in the drive tray
3. Press the Open button on your remote control to close the drive tray
4. Press the Menu button on your remote control
5. Press the 1 button on your remote control
6. Press the Index (1-All) button on your remote control
7. Press the Open button on your remote control
8. Press the 1 button on your remote control

I have tried this hack it`s on this site but it still comes up NO DISC it doesn`t seem to work with this model for some unknown reason but thanks anyway
