Page 1 of PAL to NTSC conversion anyone?

I have a phillips 825 and I live in the US. I have an ntsc tv/vcr and dvd player. I have made my dvd player region free via the rc6 infa red universal hack. That worked perfectly now my problem is the vertical rolling/black and white picture. I understand that this is from the difference in the ntsc and pal standards. I am using the composite audio right and left, video out. Any suggestions on how to convert the video signal to ntsc? I also have an s-video out.
