Page 1 of samsung 709 im getting a headache,it`s not working

i have tried hacking this bloody machine, i have used the play &stop and entering the code 38767 then 9 but all i get is german subtitles.
i have also tried changing the parental lock and hey guess what ? still did not work can any one help me please before this dvd player flys acroos the room

To do the hack, you need to be at the splash screen - that is, the Samsung logo screen - with the disc tray closed and without a disc inserted.

At this point, press REPEAT followed by the appropriate five-digit code - in this case, 38767.

I think your problem is that you`ve been trying to enter the REPEAT sequence (REPEAT-3-8- etc.) starting from the language select screen. You need to be at the splash screen *before* you start entering this sequence, i.e. you need to press 1 for English first.

Yeah i had a similar problem but i was pressing repeat a-b not repeat.
