Is it true, that you can snap some of the pins in a scart cable off, and it will disable macrovision, and if so where can i find out what pins to break, or is there a way to disable macrovision using the remote control on a jmbdvd3000.

You can`t disable Macrovision by snapping pins off a SCART plug - whoever told you that was pulling your leg.

Macrovision signals are not separated so you cant snap a pin and get rid of it. They are integrated with main signals. I think you were misinformed. Check for external devices that can bust the Macr. They go under diff names like video clarifier, video enhancer, color corrector etc.
