Page 1 of Philips DVD-R 880

I`ve just upgraded my firmware and have found a problem on playing other region discs.

Prior to the upgrade I`d applied the All For One 6 Multi Region hack, which worked perfectly.

I now find that Region 2 and 4 play perfectly, but Region 1 is in black and white, and slightly out of focus.

Any similar problems/solutions ?

Upgrading firmware over the multiregion hack is a common problem, and as far as I know for the moment has no workaround. That`s why I always recommend never multihacking Philips machines but using a cheap player instead for multiregion.

I`ll keep my ear to the ground and if I hear anything I`ll post it on this thread.
