Page 1 of Toshiba DVD Combo problems

A friend lends me copied DVDs. They play fine on my sons PS2 but not on my DVD/Video combo Toshiba SD-22VB.

Could some one tell me why and if there is a way I can get around this problem and play them on my Toshiba?

I would be forever grateful.

have you found any information about your Toshiba dvd/video? as i have the sameone and i`m still looking. If you could give me any info i would be most greatfull, likewise i will pass on any info i can get regards Paul.
