Please can anybody tell me how i can play region 1 dvds - all the hacks ive tried do not seem to work?

If the hack doesnt work then it`s down to your firmware ... either change your firmware for a hackable one .. not easy to find .. or buy an auto region modchip from a chip supplier and solder it in
